I want to acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The City of Waterloo, where I am based, is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on either side of the Grand River.

I offer my respect to the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people, and commit myself to recognizing and working toward a deeper understanding of the true history of this land.
